Type of claim

Your details stay confidential and are used only to respond to your request.

Why are life and personal accident claims rejected or delayed?

These claims are often delayed by documents: death certificates, attested foreign documents, medical records, proof of beneficiary status or inheritance papers. They are also questioned on non-disclosure of medical history, on whether the event is covered, or on the degree of disability. A complete, well-ordered file shortens the delay and answers the questions the insurer raises.

How it works

How we handle your claim

  1. 01

    Free eligibility review

Send your policy and the insurer's reply. We tell you if you have a case and what is missing.

  2. 02

    We prepare the file

We collect the evidence, organise the documents and draft a clear, well-argued complaint.

  3. 03

    We file and follow up

We raise it with the insurer first, then with the Sanadak unit if it is not resolved.

  4. 04

    Decision, or appeal

You get updates until the decision is issued, and we prepare your appeal if you need one.

The complaints route

Two stages, and we prepare both

Stage 1

Complaint to your insurer

The insurer must first get the chance to resolve your complaint, usually within 30 calendar days. A complete, well-documented complaint at this stage often settles the case.

Stage 2

The Sanadak unit

If the insurer does not resolve it, or you disagree with its answer, the complaint goes to the Sanadak unit, the official complaints body set up by the Central Bank of the UAE. Filing is free for consumers. Insurance disputes normally go here before court.

Life and personal accident claims: frequently asked questions

The life insurance claim is taking months. What can we do?

Ask the insurer for a written list of outstanding documents and a reason for the delay. If it does not resolve the claim, a complaint can be filed with the insurer and then with the Sanadak unit. We prepare and follow it.

The insurer says medical history was not disclosed. Is the claim lost?

Not necessarily. It depends on what was asked, what was declared and whether it relates to the claim. We review the application form and the records.

Who can make the claim?

Usually the named beneficiary or the legal heirs. We help you identify the documents needed to prove entitlement.

Do documents from abroad need attestation?

Usually yes, by the UAE embassy in that country and the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with a legal Arabic translation.

Is there a deadline?

A complaint can generally be filed within three years of the event, or two years from when you became aware of it, whichever is longer.

How much does your service cost?
