What is the problem?

Your details stay confidential and are used only to respond to your request.

What can you do if an insurance settlement is too low?

Before you sign a settlement or discharge form, check it against your policy: the sum insured, the limits, the deductible and any depreciation applied. If the amount is wrong, complain to the insurer with evidence of the real loss. If it does not correct it, the complaint can go to the Sanadak unit, the official complaints body set up by the Central Bank of the UAE.

Common situations

Settlement problems we handle

These are the most common reasons a payout falls short or stalls.

Offer below the real loss

Repair costs, replacement value or medical bills are not fully covered.

Unexplained deductions

Depreciation, excess or 'betterment' taken off without a clear basis.

Low total loss value

The car or item is valued below its market value.

Payment delayed

The claim is approved, but the money has not arrived.

Endless information requests

New documents are requested again and again.

No response

Calls and emails go unanswered for weeks.

What we do

How we recover the gap

We compare what you were offered with what your policy actually covers.

  • Check the offer against the sum insured and limits
  • Explain each deduction and whether it is justified
  • Gather quotes, invoices and valuation evidence
  • Calculate the amount you should receive
  • Draft the complaint to the insurer
  • Track the 30-day response period
  • File with the Sanadak unit if it is not corrected
  • Follow up until payment or a decision

Do not sign a discharge or settlement form until the amount has been checked. Signing can close the claim.

How it works

How we handle your claim

  1. 01

    Free eligibility review

Send your policy and the insurer's reply. We tell you if you have a case and what is missing.

  2. 02

    We prepare the file

We collect the evidence, organise the documents and draft a clear, well-argued complaint.

  3. 03

    We file and follow up

We raise it with the insurer first, then with the Sanadak unit if it is not resolved.

  4. 04

    Decision, or appeal

You get updates until the decision is issued, and we prepare your appeal if you need one.

The complaints route

Two stages, and we prepare both

Stage 1

Complaint to your insurer

The insurer must first get the chance to resolve your complaint, usually within 30 calendar days. A complete, well-documented complaint at this stage often settles the case.

Stage 2

The Sanadak unit

If the insurer does not resolve it, or you disagree with its answer, the complaint goes to the Sanadak unit, the official complaints body set up by the Central Bank of the UAE. Filing is free for consumers. Insurance disputes normally go here before court.

Underpaid and delayed settlements: frequently asked questions

The insurer offered less than my loss. Can I refuse?

Yes. You do not have to accept an offer you believe is wrong. Complain to the insurer with evidence of the real loss, and if it is not corrected, take the complaint to the Sanadak unit.

I already signed the settlement form. Is it too late?

It may limit your options, depending on what the form says. Send it to us and we will review it.

What is depreciation, and can the insurer deduct it?

Depreciation reduces the value of parts or items for age and wear. Whether and how much can be deducted depends on your policy terms.

My claim was approved but not paid. What can I do?

Complain to the insurer in writing with the approval and dates. If it is not resolved within about 30 days, the complaint can go to the Sanadak unit.

Is there a deadline?

A complaint can generally be filed within three years of the event, or two years from when you became aware of it, whichever is longer.

How much does your service cost?

The first review is free. Our fee is confirmed in writing before we start.
